Good Practice Award

Professor Arai’s “Information Fluency” course, taught in the fall semester of 2024, was selected as a “Good Practice (GP)” by students based on the results of a university course survey.

This award is divided into three categories based on the number of students enrolled in each subject, and the results of questionnaires for each category are scored for each department (faculty and center). The top-ranked subject is selected (however, if there is a large imbalance in the number of subjects corresponding to each category in each department, the top three subjects with the highest scores in each department are selected without dividing them into categories). This time, a total of 36 subjects were awarded, with three subjects from each of the 12 departments (9 faculties and 3 centers).

The GP award ceremony was held on June 23rd, 2025. At the ceremony, the president and vice president for academic affairs (chair of the FD Committee) presented the award certificates and prizes along with words of appreciation.

You can find further details of the GP here.
